You’ll have the support of a dedicated supervisor throughout your first two years with us. Your supervisor is there to help you. Whatever questions or queries you may have, and however trivial they may seem, your supervisor will be on hand to help you. These questions needn’t necessarily be limited to the training you receive, either. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible in your new environment. We’ll also allocate you with a buddy in week one. He or she will have been working in your department where you will spend your first week, and will introduce you to your supervisor and other key members of the team.

Your supervisor will also help you to plan for the future. He or she will discuss your career aspirations with you and, together, you’ll decide upon the course you need to get there. Appraisals every six months will allow you to assess what you’ve achieved so far and clarify what you need to do to continue your development. Our trainee reps are also on hand to ensure an open channel of communication for you to voice your views, issues or concerns.
